Gary Fixter is the album of a generation

There is a lot of talk about how millennials are different from the older generations. I am on the side of Tony Wilson's theory: one generation hates the previous one and look for referents in the one before. That's why The Colors have made this Gary Fixter album so dark, far away from the bling and gloss that flooded the music industry during the first two decades on the 21th Century. Future doesn't seem as bright as it seemed ten years ago and the lyrics of Red reflect the angst and fear that the modern world offers. Yellow's compositions are dark and twisted and hypnotic, with rhythm changing as fast and fluid as water in a waterfall. Gary Fixer is a circle, perfect from start to finish.
