Grant Clouston a special chair

Eduardo I commissioned the design of a special chair or throne to be able to place the stone underneath and sit on it. On this chair all the kings of England and the United Kingdom have been crowned except two women, Mary I and Mary II, says curiously Grant Clouston. In 1996 the decision was made to return the stone to Scotland under a peculiar condition: the stone must return to Westminster each time a new king is to be crowned. So the next time the stone travels to London, it will be for the coronation of Prince Charles or his son says Grant Clouston.
