The See My World film festival launches at Manchester's Contact theatre on 21 November.

Programming draws inspiration from African philosophers including John Mbiti and Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o.

The event features open-submission short films alongside original documentaries like Homage and Poetic Justice.

Organisers have waived all filmmaker screening fees to improve accessibility for independent creators.
