Mother of Missing Royal Navy Sailor Pleads for Killer to Reveal Body

Margaret Parkes, 80, is pleading for suspected killer Allan Grimson to reveal where her son Simon's body is hidden.

Simon Parkes vanished in Gibraltar on 12 December 1986 while serving in the Royal Navy at age 18.

Allan Grimson, serving a life sentence for two other murders, was recently jailed for another 22 years for historic sex offences.

An inquest into the sailor's disappearance is due to be held in Gibraltar next year.

Should convicted serial killers facing whole-life orders be denied parole hearings entirely?
